Technically yes, vinyl, vinyl plank, and vinyl hybrid are waterproof flooring solutions so can be used in these wet areas. However, we would not recommend using sheet vinyl in these areas as it can get very slippery. Vinyl Hybrid is often installed in these areas, but cannot be placed flush with the wall, so if a leak occurs and water manages to get under the planks it can damage the flooring. Vinyl Plank is a better option to the other two as it is waterproof and can go flush with the wall. Some styles are less slippery than others, so we recommend coming in store or giving us a call to determine what style would suit your home best.
